Multiplayer

Make the art together, without waiting on each other.

Share one link and your team draws, animates and exports from a single file. No zips, no “final_v3”, no waiting for someone to send it back.

Undo your strokes, never your teammate's. Everyone has their own undo. When a teammate has painted over your stroke, Pixelart Makers keeps their pixels and tells you so.

Split a cycle without stepping on each other. Avatars above the timeline and frame pills on the canvas show who's working where.

Everyone always works on the latest version. Strokes, layers, frames, tags, the palette and AI jobs update in every open tab.

One link, and they're in. Share › Copy edit link copies the file's link. Anyone with it and a Pixelart Makers account can open and edit the file, so send it to the people you're making the game with.

Finished line art stays finished. Lock a layer and it's locked for everyone until someone unlocks it.

Big edits never eat your strokes. While a resize or a filter rewrites an artboard, your pencil holds off and tells you why. Delete a layer by mistake and the toast offers Undo.

AI never lands on someone's work by surprise. Everyone sees a teammate's AI draft and its progress, and a merge is refused if the layer changed since the job started.

Find every sprite you've worked on. Your file list shows thumbnails, which files you own and when each was last edited, and files you open from a shared link appear under Shared with me.

Try an idea without touching theirs. Duplicate file makes your own copy of any sprite you can open.

Team questions

How do I invite my team?

Choose Share › Copy edit link and send the link. Anyone who opens it and signs in joins the file as an editor, and the file shows up under Shared with me.

Can I give someone view-only access?

Not for the file itself: everyone you share its link with can edit, so share it with your team only. To show your work to anyone, publish it: people can view the published copy without an account, but they can't edit your file.

What happens if we edit the same pixels?

The last stroke wins, and you see it happen because cursors are live. Undo skips pixels a teammate changed: if a teammate painted over your stroke, your ⌘Z keeps their pixels and tells you how many it kept.

Can I undo a teammate's change?

No. Your ⌘Z steps back through your own edits only, and it skips pixels a teammate changed since. If a teammate deleted something by mistake, they can bring it back with ⌘Z, or with Undo on the toast.

Can I get back something I deleted?

Inside a file, yes: deleting a layer or artboard shows a toast with Undo, and ⌘Z brings back layers, frames and artboards with their pixels. Edit › Undo history lists every step you took, so you can jump back several at once. Undo lives in your browser tab, so it's gone after a reload. Deleting a whole file from your file list is permanent, and only its owner can do it.

Do my teammates need an account?

Yes. Anyone you send a link to signs up free, or signs in with Google, and joins the file as an editor.

Share your first sprite with your team. Signing up is free for you and everyone you share with.
